ParkSmart
As our population grows so does traffic congestion and pressure on parking spaces, especially in the Bundaberg CBD, schools and around our hospitals.
To improve parking availability and traffic flow Council has introduced ParkSmart, an automated number plate recognition technology utilising vehicle mounted cameras to identify vehicles parking longer than the signed limit.
ParkSmart was introduced in September 2023 in the Bundaberg initially for the CBD, schools and hospital zones.
