Aqua Aerobics - classes offer a variety of fitness activities and levels undertaken in our local swimming pools (water fitness / aerobics), giving participants the opportunity to experience the benefits of water-based training and resistance. Please note - pool fitness classes are free, however standard pool entry fees are applicable upon entry.
BounceFit Table Tennis - is a fun and energetic way to learn table tennis while staying active! Each session blends easy-to-learn table tennis skills with simple fitness activities that boost agility, coordination and mobility. Using bats, balls, and even a robot pong machine, participants of all ages and abilities can enjoy moving, laughing, and improving their fitness in a social, low-pressure environment.
BoxFit - is a cardiovascular workout based on the training used for boxing which includes skipping, boxing drills, footwork, abdominal workouts while also focusing on functional fitness and toning. Please bring cotton glove inners if you can.
Canoeing - is a great way to experience the natural wonder of our local waterways, jumping in a canoe with an experience guide for a paddle in nature! Chair Yoga - is a gentle style of yoga that modifies traditional poses so you can perform them while seated in a chair or using it for support. This type of yoga is designed for people who cannot stand easily, lack floor-mobility, or want a low-impact option.
Circuit - is a type of cardio/strength/resistance workout that involves rotating through a circuit of different exercise stations that target different muscle groups in the same class.
Cycling Class Les-mills RPM - is a group indoor cycling workout where you can control intensity. It's fun and low impact, with great music pumping and the group cycling as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding, in express 30 minute format.
HIIT - is high intensity interval training with shorter bursts of intense activity followed by a quick recovery period, before getting right back into the tough work!
Kite Flying (Intro to Kitesurfing) - is a fun experience flying a small trainer kite and is the first step with taking these skills further into kitesurfing or other wind sports! mSwing - uses a single dumbbell and natural, flowing movements to provide a fun, challenging and effective workout focusing on balance, strength and body control.
Pickleball - is a paddle and ball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong; it is a social sport given the smaller court dimensions than tennis and can be easily learned even if you have not played a racquet or paddle sport before!
Pilates - is an effective series of low impact exercises using your body weight as resistance; the full body workout focuses on strengthening your core muscles to improve posture and strength.
Poolates - is a low-impact workout that adapts traditional mat pilates into a swimming exercise. The water supports your body weight, which takes heavy pressure off your joints, hips and spine.
Strength & Stretch - covers a mixture of strength training and stretching or mobility exercises which could include use of weights and bands within a circuit set-up. Stretching sections of the class could include elements of yoga, Pilates or meditation along with stretching and mobility exercises. Approximate class breakdown is strength-based exercises for 30 minutes (including warm up) and 15 minutes of stretching and movements improving mobility.
Wheelchair Basketball - is a fast-paced, adaptive team sport modelled after traditional basketball for people with physical impairments that prevent running, jumping or pivoting. Players use a specialised sports wheelchair featuring slanted wheels for greater agility.
Yoga - is a gentle way to improve your posture, balance, flexibility and coordination.
