Recycled Goods Shop hours: 

Bundaberg Saturday and Sunday 1.30 - 4:30 pm
Qunaba Friday and Saturday 9 am - 1.30 pm
Meadowvale Wednesday 10 am - Noon
South Kolan, Tirroan, Childers and Woodgate Shops open during normal Waste Facility opening hours - click here

Customers are advise to comply with all social distancing and personal hygiene directions while on site 

Waste minimisation is important and the sale of recycled goods helps to reuse, reclaim and recycle resources.

Recycled goods shop

All visitors must be aware of the following on site: 
  • Prices are set by Council Shop Attendants;
  • Products are sold on a first in, first serviced basis;
  • No haggling of prices is accepted;
  • No smoking is allowed at Waste Facilities;
  • No pets are allowed outside of a vehicle at Waste Facilities;
  • Children must be supervised;
  • Enclosed footwear must be worn (no thongs or open top shoes);
  • All directions made by BRC Staff must be complied with;
  • No threats, abuse or aggressive behavior towards a staff member or another member of the public will be tolerated;
  • Theft of any kind will be reported to the police (note: surveillance cameras are in place)

Conditions of sale

Customers purchasing recycled goods are advised that:

  • All items sold are recycled goods, reclaimed directly from the waste facilities
  • All items are sold on an "as is" basis. Council does not warrant/guarantee the condition or working order of items
  • No refunds or exchanges apply
  • Council has undertaken no sanitisation/cleaning of any items prior to sale
  • Items may contain contaminates, allergens and/or other micro-organisms which would cause or contribute to skin irritations, respiratory conditions or illnesses in some persons
  • Council strongly recommends customers properly sanitise/clean any and all items purchased prior to use - Council will not be held responsible for any contamination of items sold
  • Council accepts no liability of any nature whatsoever in connection with the sale, loading, collection or use of items sold
  • Customers that purchase items do so at their own risk
  • Customers must ensure all relevant legisation is complied with, such as: 
    • Effectively securing your load before leaving the site; and
    • Obtaining relevant transport licenses and permits prior to departure
