Skip bins

Skip bins are a convenient way for residents, building sites and commercial operators to dispose of bulk waste.

Skip bins are accepted at:

• Bundaberg Waste Management Facility
• Qunaba Waste Management Facility
  

  Disposal limits apply. Maximum size/volume of 3 m³ per load. E.g. 1 x 3 m³ bin or combination of smaller equal to the 3 m³ volume.

Permitted waste

• general waste (furniture and plastics)
• green waste
• concrete and bricks
• construction waste (tiles, pavers, plaster, timber, building waste)
• clean soil or dirt

Declared waste

• asbestos (in accordance with disposal guidelines)
• tyres (charges apply)
• eWaste
• white goods
• bagged dusty materials (sawdust)

Prohibited waste

• liquid wastes (paint, oil and chemicals)
• hazardous goods (gas bottles and batteries)
• clinical waste
• explosives (flares, ammunition, fireworks)

Should prohibited items or undeclared waste be found in your skip bin contents when emptied at a Council waste facility additional disposal costs may apply, or you may be required to remove the contaminated waste at your expense.
