The bin day finder and recycling calendar will help keep you informed of the bin collection days and recycling week relating to your address.

Recycling collection calendar

Kerbside bins - collection tips

place bins on the kerbside 0.5m apart and 1m from any other object (space bins apart)
place bins out the night before or before 5 am on collection day (no set collection times/ may vary)
do not overfill bins or place large, heavy or hazardous items in the bin
do not bag recycling - place loose in the recycling bin
Council will only service BRC provided bins

N.B. Residents are responsible for the security of bins - after bins are emptied please ensure bins are removed from the kerbside and stored within your property as soon as practicable after servicing.

Bin day collection change

Some areas of the BRC region will be affected by a bin day collection change commencing Monday 20 October - for more information > click here

Once off special recycling collection:

Coral Cove & Elliot Heads will have an extra yellow lid bin collection on Thursday 23 October
Parts of Kalkie will have an extra yellow lid bin collection on Friday 24 October

How to use the bin day finder

start typing your street number and street name
select your address from the drop-down menu

The bin day finder will display your next:

waste collection day (weekly)
recycling collection day and week (fortnightly - Week A or B).

Please note, if you are unable to find your address or have found a discrepancy with your day or week please contact Council.
