Woodgate foreshore parks

Woodgate Beach is located 45 minutes south of Bundaberg and 30 minutes east of Childers. Woodgate Beach is the perfect location to relax, unwind and experience nature at its best. One of Queensland’s best kept secrets, Woodgate Beach offers over 16km of pristine beaches and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. Walk along the esplanade pathway, have a picnic or barbecue or set up your chair to watch the waves lapping the shore. There are plenty of tables and picnic shelters nested all along the esplanade, as well as large toilet facilities and ample barbecues at the main beach on the Esplanade at Second Avenue. The Woodgate Community Park opposite the esplanade (cnr Seventh Avenue) also has a playground and exercise equipment, and there are picnic, barbecue and playground facilities located at Banksia Park at the southern end of the esplanade.
