Sharon Gorge Nature Park

Escape the heat and enjoy the cool, fresh air of a subtropical rainforest filled with ferns, orchids, mossy rockfaces and palm groves. The walking track follows alongside the gorge with a series of steps, bridges and short boardwalks. Sharon Gorge captures seasonal flows and directs the fresh water into the Burnett River. A lookout over the river, amongst towering gums is your final destination. This park also doubles as a free overnight stay for self-contained vehicles and is therefore well serviced with toilet facilities, BBQs and picnic tables.
