Hinkler Lions Tourist Park

Hinkler Lions Park is a small park located along University Drive on the Southern outskirts of Bundaberg, close to the Stockland Shopping Centre. A 24 hour stop at the park is available for RVs and self-contained vehicles. There is no cost involved to stay on-site, and access to toilets and water is included. A dump point is also located at the park for convenience. There is a small playground suitable for young children in the centre of the park and some picnic shelters available. Hinkler Lions Park was created to honour the memory of Bert Hinkler, the pioneer Australian aviator and inventor who was the first person to fly solo from England to Australia, and across the Southern Atlantic Ocean.
