Hinkler Hall of Aviation
Discover Bundaberg’s aviation heritage at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, where Bert Hinkler’s pioneering story comes alive through interactive exhibits, flight simulators, historic aircraft and treasured memorabilia.
Admission also includes entry to Hinkler House, the modest English home Bert built in 1925 and named Mon Repos after the Bundaberg beach that inspired his love of flight. Relocated brick‑by‑brick from Southampton to Bundaberg in 1983, the house now stands as a memorial museum — a remarkable tribute to Bert’s vision and legacy.
Together, the Hall and House offer a unique experience that connects Bundaberg’s history with the world of flight.
