Taste Bundaberg Festival returns to celebrate the Bundaberg Region's food bowl!
The best of Bundaberg's local flavours, fresh produce and culinary experiences, including a new seaside event, will take centre stage when the 2026 Taste Bundaberg Festival returns this September.
Spanning two full weekends from Friday 4 September to Sunday 13 September, the festival will feature a diverse program of events that celebrate the people, produce and places that make the region one of Australia's premier food destinations.
This year's program features an exciting mix of returning favourites and new experiences. From hands-on cooking classes and family-friendly events to long lunches, gala dinners and unique dining celebrations, there is something for every taste and every age.
One of the major highlights for 2026 is Flavours by the Foreshore, a brand-new, free community event hosted by Bundaberg Regional Council at the picturesque Elliott Heads foreshore on Father's Day.
Visitors are encouraged to pack a picnic rug and relax by the ocean or pre-order a grazing platter from local favourites while enjoying live music.
The iconic Agrotrend event is once again a part of the Taste Festival program and this year will include a Farmer’s Market featuring fresh produce, farm gate products, homemade goods, plants, flowers, preserves, artisan food and handmade products.
Festival favourite Symphony in the Strawberry Fields will also return, with Bargara Berries once again inviting visitors to enjoy a memorable dining experience among the strawberry fields. Set within the open spaces of the farm, this unique outdoor concert invites you to slow down and savour the moment.
