Join us for a fun and creative Shibori & Indigo Dyeing Workshop in Bundaberg on Sunday, 31st May 2025, from 9:30am to 12:30pm at CWA Hall, Quay Steet, next to RSL Hall.

In this hands-on beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the traditional Japanese art of Shibori, using folding, binding, twisting, and clamping techniques to create stunning resist patterns. You'll dip your fabric into a plant-based indigo dye vat and watch the magic unfold as your unique designs emerge.

Choose to dye a scarf, a set of tea towels, or a linen bag—all materials are provided. You'll also learn how to maintain an indigo vat and explore a range of pattern-making techniques to inspire your own future dyeing projects.

Whether you come solo or bring a friend, it’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, get creative, and make something beautiful. A thoughtful and unique Mother’s Day gift idea too!

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little blue, and come ready to play with colour and pattern. Spots are limited—book now!
