Our range of school holiday workshops offer fun and engaging experiences for children aged 8-16 years. Each session is designed to inspire imagination and build practical skills through making, building, designing, and exploring. Children can take part in a variety of hands-on activities, including introductory robotics, drone challenges, creative construction, and more.

Monday 12 January | 10:00– 11:30am

Drones (Advanced) | Level 2

Designed for young drone enthusiasts, this advanced session offers an exciting opportunity to sharpen skills, tackle obstacles, and compete in fun drone challenges. Note: Prior attendance at the Drones (Basics) workshop is required.

Monday 12 January | 12:30 – 2:00pm

LEGO® Robotics (Amusement Park)

Add lights, sounds, and movement to your amusement park creations with programming blocks. Build computational thinking skills and discover the magic of coding in action.

Wednesday, 14 January | 10:00 – 11:30am

Drones (Advanced) | Level 3

Design a model of Lady Elliot Island, then fly and code drones to track eagle rays. Learn how scientists use drones to protect marine life while enjoying exciting flight challenges. Note: Prior attendance at the Drones (Basics) workshop is required.

Art with Makey Makey® and Bots

Use Makey Makey® kits to turn your drawings into interactive art. Explore robots and digital tools to create bold, abstract artworks and spark new forms of expression.

Friday, 16 January | 12:30 – 2:00pm

LEGO® Robotics (Robo Rider)

Design and build smart bikes with LEGO®, then bring them to life with coding. Add lights, sensors, and movement, and test your creations in fun challenges to explore engineering and creative problem-solving.
