Bundaberg families are invited to come together and celebrate the magic of the festive season at Christmas in the Precinct, a free community event proudly supported by Restoration Centre and Living Word Bundaberg.

Held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct, this much-loved celebration is set to be Bundaberg City’s biggest Carol’s gathering.  It will light up the evening with a joyful mix of food, music and family-friendly fun. With gates opening from 5 pm, visitors can enjoy a variety of local food vendors, a jumping castle for the kids, live music, Christmas carols, and plenty of festive atmosphere.  Carols start at 6pm.

Organisers say the event is all about community connection and creating a safe, family-focused celebration for all ages.

“Christmas in the Precinct is an opportunity for our community to come together, share in the spirit of the season, and enjoy a night full of joy and fellowship — all while remembering that Jesus Christ is the true reason for the season,” Pastor Tim Lunnon of Restoration Centre said. “Whether you're coming for the carols, the food, or simply a wonderful night out with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.”

The event is accessible via Kendall’s Road, with free entry for all attendees. Families are encouraged to bring a seat or a picnic blanket, relax on the grass, and soak up the festive entertainment.

This event is community-led and is not coordinated or endorsed by Bundaberg Regional Council.
