Autumn School Holiday - Keeper Talks

Alexandra Park Zoo is increasing its educational talks these school holidays, giving visitors extra chances to learn from the keepers who care for our animals every day!

Running throughout the Easter school holidays from Saturday 4 April until Sunday 19 April, our FREE Keeper Talks are a favourite for curious kids, animal lovers and anyone keen to discover more about the species that call our zoo home.

Sessions will focus on different species with fun facts, behind‑the‑scenes insights and the chance to watch feedings up close.

Suitable for all ages and no bookings needed - just meet the keeper at the exhibit at the scheduled time.

Open daily

We’re open 7 days a week from 9.30 am - 4.30 pm throughout the Queensland school holidays (closed Christmas Day).

Free entry

Entry to the zoo is completely free - bring your sense of adventure but please leave pets at home to help keep our animals safe.
