Wildflower Guided Walk

Council’s Natural Areas team invite you to join special guest, local botanist and conservationist, Maureen Schmitt for a guided walk through Vera Scarth-Johnson Wildflower Reserve this spring.

You will be provided with our Wallum Wildflower Guide and shown how to identify the variety of plants along the way.

This easy, flat walk is approximately 1.2 kilometres return. Tracks have a sandy but firm surface.

We recommend you: 

• wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, hat and comfortable walking shoes 
• wear sunscreen 
• bring plenty of drinking water 

Please note there are no toilet facilities in this park. The closest toilet facilities can be found by continuing past the reserve entrance and taking the next left onto Coonarr Beach Road to the Esplanade.
