Previously known as Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS), we have been delivering support services to Australians for decades. Southern Cross Support Services was founded on 1 July 2011 in Bundaberg by a passionate group of individuals determined to create something different for people needing disability support services. Built on this foundation of purpose, Southern Cross Support Services has grown into one of the largest support providers in local communities across Queensland.In 2024, Southern Cross Support Services and Programmed Care came together under a new name Kanda. At Kanda, we’re more than a care provider - we’re a community. With decades of experience, we deliver tailored support solutions that embrace the complexity of life. From disability and NDIS support, to children, youth, and family services, aged home care, veterans' care and community nursing, our purpose is to empower individuals and create opportunities for a better quality of life.
