We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Bundaberg RSL at 10 am. One-on-one meetings at any time.
CICADA Queensland (www.cicadaqld.org) is a completely independent not-for-profit organisation and support group, registered as a charity in Australia. A user-led organisation with over 35 years of experience supporting individuals with profound hearing loss and their families, we are run entirely by volunteers - the vast majority of whom are hearing impaired - and are committed to embracing people from all walks of life, supporting and informing them throughout their hearing loss journey.
We are uniquely qualified to do this work because we offer the perspective of lived experience together with recognition by, and close relationships with, professionals in the fields of audiology and surgery.
Cicada Qld Vision: To ensure all Queenslanders of all ages affected by hearing loss, considering hearing implants, or currently using hearing technology, along with their families, are supported and informed.
