Water Conservation

Bundaberg's Water Cycle

The Bundaberg Region's water cycle is cared for by Council’s Water Services.

This department removes water from the environment where it is treated and supplied to the community before collecting it back, treating it once more and returning it back to the environment.

It's important that not too much water is removed and that it's returned as good quality water to ensure the environment and the community is safe.

Our Water quality

As times have changed, so has how we test water. Our laboratory consistently tests water to monitor the quality of treated effulent.
