Bundaberg Parkrun

Council has supported the introduction of free, weekly running events held at Queens Park on Saturdays between 6.30 and 8.30am, with the timed run kicking off from 7am. Bundaberg joins numerous parkrun events currently held across Australia. Parkrun Australia is a not-for-profit organisation established to benefit the health outcomes of communities. Their mission is to provide a free, weekly, timed 5 km running event to every community seeking one - thereby increasing participation in running and other sports throughout Australia.

To get involved, register at parkrun online for a ‘free’ barcode which will enable you to receive a timed record of your run each time you participate.

If you are keen to introduce more exercise into your lifestyle give parkrun a try. The Bundaberg parkrun event is open to all standards – it’s you against the clock, so why not challenge yourself and give it a go! To find out more or register visit parkrun.com.au/bundaberg.
