Kanda Family Day Care
Kanda Family Day Care aims to provide a high quality, flexible and professional childcare service. Our Educators offer a range of education and care options that are child focused, interest lead and encompass a play-based curriculum. Kanda acknowledges that the first five years of children’s lives are the critical building blocks for their overall development and future potential.
Kanda Family Day Care supports inclusive practices and the rights of all children to feel safe, secure and sense of belonging. Children shall be recognised as individuals and their dignity shall be paramount and respected by all in the care environment. Kanda encourages children and their families to work in collaboration with the service and its Educators to connect with the community and celebrate our diversity.
Our experienced and qualified coordination unit works closely with our Educators to mentor and support them, enabling educators to foster each child’s individual abilities. This provides children with the opportunity to grow and reach their fullest potential.
Kanda Family Day Care supports small group learning in flexible learning environments, that actively engages children in their own learning. Our small groups allow educators to nurture, support and plan for each individual child to ensure children are successful learners.
We aspires to engage children in practices that will enable them to develop an appreciation of the natural environment in which they live. By doing this we hope to embed sustainable practice that will protect the environment for their future. We also work in the spirit of reconciliation, to support a greater understanding and appreciation for Indigenous Australian cultures and to embed these cultures throughout our service.
