Clean up around the home with free tip days in February!
The free tip days will be an ideal time for residents to remove objects and backyard clutter around the house that could pose a danger during future storm seasons.
Free tip days extend to most domestic waste. They do not include material such as tyres, mattresses, solar panels, deceased animals, asbestos and commercial or industrial waste.
Load limits do apply with vehicles, therefore vehicles 4.0 tonnes GVM or greater are excluded from the tip free days. A maximum load limit of 500kgs also applies.
The free tip arrangements extended to all Council’s waste and recycling facilities and transfer stations across the region. See below table for the dates and times of free disposal at your nearest facility.
