Bundaberg Botanic Gardens boardwalk renewal project | The Bundaberg Botanic Gardens boardwalk (behind Cafe 1928) is due for renewal. The project will include removal of a section of boardwalk to improve the water flow and reduce nutrients in the lake. A new boardwalk will be installed in February 2023. |
A section of the boardwalk was removed in October 2022. This section will not be replaced. The remaining section of the boardwalk was removed in April 2023. The date of the installation of the new boardwalk is yet to be advised. |

Bundaberg CBD Tree Planting Project | Select garden beds in the Bundaberg CBD, between Maryborough Street and Tantitha Street will receive an upgrade. Existing vegetation will be removed and replaced with a tree and additional vegetation. Work will occur early in the morning to minimise disruption to customers and businesses. Work is being undertaken in three stages. Stage one and two have been completed. Stage three is currently underway and is three-quarters completed. | End of December 2022 | Tree Planting Project |

Lake Ellen Heritage Hub Park and Playground Concept Plan, Bundaberg South | Consultation with the community to develop a Concept Plan to determine what facilities the community would like to see in this area. |
