Process of wild clay from rocks to ceramic vase

What's included:

  • presentation of wild clay foraging and processing techniques
  • 8 coloured wild clays (500gm each) processed ready to use for ceramic making
  • studio equipment and staff guidance
  • bisque and glaze firing
  • includes morning tea from Dazyee's Kombi Coffee.

Please wear clothes that you might wear for gardening (i.e. can get muddy or stained). Please let Studio staff know if you have sensitivities to high mineral contents. Aprons, nitrile gloves and N95 masks are available, if required.

This workshop is for beginners and seasoned potters wanting to explore exciting new possibilities connecting their art with a sense of place in Bundaberg. We'll be all about experimentation and play with this ancient material, so bring your sense of fun and adventure for a wildly creative morning at the Studio.
