Council's Clean Up Australia event
Join Bundaberg Regional Council's Natural Areas team and Yourtown trainees at Queens Park for this year's Clean-up Australia Day.
We are a proud Reef Guardian Council - an initiative of the Reef Authority - delivering real outcomes for the Great Barrier Reef.
As part of our Waterways Rubbish Removal Program, the main aim of this clean-up is to prevent rubbish from entering the adjacent Burnett River and ending up as marine debris.
When: Tuesday 4 March
Time: 9 am to 10.30 am
Where: Queens Park, 29 Quay Street
Please wear enclosed shoes, be sun-smart and bring your re-usable water bottle.
Some gloves, rubbish bags, grabbers, and extra water will be provided.
