Get Ready Goosechase
The Get Ready Goosechase is a region wide scavenger hunt for young people between 13 – 18 years of age. The goosechase will commence on 1 October and finish on 31 October 2021.
Contestants will complete a range of missions to gain points. The person who gains the most points wins the game and will be the crowned the top Get Ready Goosechaser of 2021.
Each contestant will receive a Get Ready Goosechase kit in the last week of September. The kit will include the game code and password as well as a range of items that will be needed to complete missions.
Missions will require contestants to submit photos or videos, answer questions or go to selected GPS locations using a free app called Goosechase.
Are there prizes?
Absolutely! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and several giveaways during the game for completing certain missions and reaching certain levels.
How do I register?
If you are between the age of 13 - 18 you can register below or in person and you must have parental consent.
Get Ready Goosechase is a part of Council's Community Resilience Project that is funded by the Australian Government under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
The project aims to increase the resilience of young people in our region during natural disaster events through education and community engagement.
Council have been working with a small group of young people who have helped design a mascot, missions and prizes for Get Ready Goosechase.
