New Bin Collection Days

From May 1, bin collection days will change for many residents living in the Bundaberg region.

The following map highlights designated collection areas and their collection days. For an interactive map, please click here:  or click here for a simplified map of the Central Collection Areas of Bundaberg Regional Council.

NOTE: Please select version HTML5 - recommended for use for all Brower’s include Mobiles/ Tablets

Interactive Map Instructions:

  • Once map is open refer to "Map Layers" on the left hand side column
  • Select Waste Management from the Map Layers list - in the drop down menu Current Waste & Recycling Days should be ticked
  • Un-tick “Current Waste and Recycling Days” and select “Proposed Waste Recycling Collection Days – May 2016” 
  • In the Search Bar (top right corner)  type in address - street number and name only (EG 15 Smith)
  • Click on Magnify Glass to search for address - result screen will pop up on left hand side column
  • Find correct address and click on House Symbol to zoom in to house / area
  • Screen will be highlight with reference colour and state Collection Day and Recycling Week (EG Highlight Yellow -  Tuesday Week A)
  • Also can click on "Show Legend" bottom left hand column which lists Collections Days and Recycling Week

*Please note that Waste is collected weekly and Recycling collected fortnightly.

New collection days and localities are listed below:

Monday – Avoca and West Bundaberg

  • Millbank, Norville, Avoca, Branyan, Kensington, South Bingera, Svensson Heights

Tuesday – North Bundaberg and Northside

  • Moore Park, Avondale, Yandaran, Meadowvale, South Kolan, Sharon, Winfield, Burnett Downs, Oakwood

Wednesday – Bargara and surrounding coastal area

  • Burnett Heads, Bargara, Innes Park, Coral Cove, Elliott Heads, Rubyanna, Qunaba, parts of Windermere

Thursday – Central and South Bundaberg

  • Alloway, Thabeban, Coonarr, Woongarra, parts of Avenell Heights, parts of Bundaberg South, parts of Walkervale, parts of Bundaberg West, CBD

Friday – East Bundaberg

  • Kepnock, Ashfield, Bundaberg East, parts of Kalkie, parts of Bundaberg South

Please place wheelie bins at least one metre apart at the kerb line the NIGHT BEFORE the scheduled collection day.
