Sporting Facilities

The Bundaberg region provides a multitude of opportunities for members of the community to enjoy sporting facilities of very high standard including:

  • Salter Oval - the home of Rugby League and Cricket
  • Bundaberg Super Park - $3.5 million Regional Athletic Facility with a full synthetic athletic surface and $2 million 12 court synthetic Netball Facility, and
  • Hinkler Park – Synthetic turf surface.

Sporting grounds and venues are spread throughout the region enabling residents and visitors to have easy access to a wide variety of sporting activities catering for myriad of sports, including Australian Rules Football, Softball, Football, Touch, Hockey, Basketball, Shooting, Karting and much more.

Bundaberg Regional Council provides four (4) Public Swimming Pools within the Region; ANZAC Park Olympic Pool, Norville Park Swimming Pool, Isis War Memorial Pool and Gin Gin Swimming Pool. Click here to find out more on our pools.
