Open House Bundaberg

The historic East Bundaberg Water Tower will be one of 10 heritage-listed buildings to open its doors for tours as part of a new Open House event designed to showcase the region’s sites of cultural significance.

Hosted and supported by the Bundaberg Regional Council, the inaugural Open House event will be held on the weekend of 3-4 September, free of charge.

The event aims to encourage people to explore the region’s rich architectural history.

Selected buildings such as the East Water Tower, Bundaberg Post Office, Fairymead House and the School of Arts will be opened to the public with guided and self-guided tours from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 3 September and there’ll be select events on Sunday, 4 September.

Tickets are required for the East Bundaberg Water Tower tours to manage numbers and will be available free of charge through Bundaberg North Burnett Tourism from 29 July by calling 4153 8888.
