Mon Repos boulder destined for Italy
A piece of Mon Repos is now destined for Italy. Thanks to Toll Holdings, a carefully chosen boulder is being transported free of charge to Italy, at the request of the Italian Government, where it will be used to form a memorial for Australian aviation hero Bert Hinkler.
Hinkler’s Historical Armstrong Siddeley Comes To Bundaberg
The Armstrong Siddeley Tourer used by Bert Hinkler during his processional motorcade and State welcome home in Brisbane on 6 March 1928, has been donated to the Hinkler House Memorial Museum and Research Association.
A community grant of $50,000 from Wide Bay Australia has allowed the purchase of two vehicles in various mechanical condition and a year-long rebuild project to commence.

Eligible pensioners in the Bundaberg Region are invited to apply for reductions to their property rates with applications closing on January 23. Bundaberg Regional Council Mayor Cr Mal Forman urged pensioners to check their eligibility to receive the available remissions.
